Life is often not about that last slice of cake left,
That your child ate without even considering sharing it with you.
Life is often not about that last hanky left in your house,
And you fight with your brother to keep that, but at last, you lose it on purpose just to see him happy.
Life is often not about the ugly fights you had with your parents,
Those fights always gave you a great deal with more love in the form of extraordinary pampering.
Life is often not about sharing a piece of chocolate with your dog,
This life is about receiving the unconditional love from the one who cannot even speak.
Life is often not as laborious as you think,
Really, it is as easygoing as a grain of sand getting lost in waves of the sea.
Life is often not as delicate as a piece of sodium,
Even it tends to play as an explosive with a mere touch of water.
Life is often not about falling in love for once and the last time,
Fall every time for the one you love, with a new reason to love forever and each passing day.
Life is often not about to quit loving someone who couldn’t love you back,
It is about bequeathing life to the one who deserves you in weakest and hardest.
